The Official Website of Brooklyn Live at The Inlet
Brooklyn Live at the Inlet was born out of a collaboration between Brooklyn's Open Space Alliance and Northside Media Group. The 16 show concert series takes place in Williamsburg's Bushwick Inlet Park. Though it has played host to the likes of Jay-Z, New Order, French Montana, The War on Drugs and Kendrick Lamar, the space itself is no more than a vast concrete lot; a reminder of the neighborhood's declining industrial past. Attempting to unite the symbols of Williamsburg's gritty history with the vibrant emerging culture the series represents, I paired a motif alluding to bricks highlighted with a bright bold blue. Akin to the style in which each artist took the stage and showcased their talent against the space's minimal backdrop, I allowed the vivid performance photos to speak for themselves as well, juxtaposing the concept against a dark background.
