It's me, AP!
Alexandra Pauline hails from beautiful Scotch Plains,
New Jersey – via her parents’ immigration from Jamaica and Trinidad, respectively – and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2009.
While in college Alexandra took full advantage of the esteemed institution's unique pedagogy. Cultivating her enthusiasm for creativity into a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum of culture and communication immersion, she focused her studies on theatre, as well as French and Italian …in addition to Jewish studies and film history, not even joking.
She has worked at Teen Vogue and The SOURCE magazine, and her writing has also been featured on Fox News... which was hilarious.
Following her two year tenure as Production Manager at the women's lifestyle multimedia startup Fabulous and Frugal, she joined the Northside Media Group team in 2013 where she manages partnerships with global brands across digital, print and experiential campaigns.
Beyond her complete fascination with the magic of entertainment media, she's also obsessed with nail art ...and music bloggers; both in the classiest way possible, promise! Alexandra loves tennis, applesauce, everything hip-hop and watching really boring WWII documentaries, but you can usually find her at Cinema Village... or any movie theatre in the five boroughs really.
She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York City, USA, where she often has second thoughts about having written this in the third person.
